New Examiners
in 1998, our two long serving over worked examiners step down from the post. Andrew Bright and Willie Wills, after 18 years between them, carrying out both car and motorcycle tests. Giving numerous talks and presentations to the Group
We welcome our new examiners Colin Shillito, Graham Conner, and Dave Aitken over the following years.
Matt McElroy and Glen Guthrie become full members and ultimately observers.
Glen Guthrie starts his tuition with Alan Kerr 7 July, successful test pass with examiner Colin Shillito 29 September. Remains a member of EDAM ever since.
Glen observes Elliot Beattie to test standard in 2002. After several years observing with the group, Galashiels boy Glen, along with Mike Dall, become instrumental in setting up the Galashiels motorcycle section which ultimately becomes the Borders Group.
Borders Group has gone from strength to strength to this day.

Yet another xmas dinner
While David was taking his course, he was undoubtedly listening to Run DMC vs Jason Nevins with It's Like That while lusting after the 1998 Aprilia RSV Mille.
